Nestled along the shimmering shores of Lake Maggiore, Hotel Villa Ruscello was a delightful weekend escape that truly resonated with my love for travel and nature. The hotel boasts stunning views of the Borromean Islands, and from our lovely balcony, we soaked in the beauty while sipping on lovely coffees. The large gardens provided ample space to relax, with a charming gazebo for al fresco dining-perfect for enjoying a meal or two amidst the palm trees and gentle lake breeze. Natalino, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and went out of his way to make our stay memorable. It was also fantastic to have direct access to a private beach where we could unwind and enjoy the peaceful ambiance. For anyone seeking an authentic experience, this cozy family-run hotel offers a glimpse into the heart of Italy with a touch of warmth that only comes from a place steeped in history and passion.
